Business Title: Engineering Technician (Civil and Structure) Base Location: Beijing Primary Purpose Functions in a junior level engineering technician capacity. Under close supervision, performs basic functions requiring technical knowledge utilizing electronic applications, processes, standards and document control processes/procedures for the purpose of creating or modifying deliverable. Evaluates methods used to accomplish the drafting and/or design activities. Roles and Responsibilities (Specific Accountabilities): 1. Develops or modifies deliverables based on rough sketches, marked-up copies and/or detailed verbal instructions. 2. Develops necessary views, sections and details with supervision. 3. Develops necessary 3D models with supervision. 4. Continues to learn and apply standards, systems, document control, department guides and company policies and procedures. 5. Broadens knowledge of the applications required to modify and develop less complex deliverables based on a variety of design inputs. May assist with minor computations such as material quantity estimates and dimensional checks. 6. May assist in coordinating deliverables with other groups involved in the same project to minimize interference or errors. 7. Continuously evaluates methods used to accomplish the activities they have been assigned. 8. Ensures that the deliverables and tasks that they work on are complete and meet company’s QA requirements. 9. Ensures that the deliverables are compliant with sketches, marked copies and written or verbal instructions. 10. Focuses on the needs of internal clients while attempting to gain basic understanding of external client＇s main interests and drivers. 11. Others as assigned. Education and Experience Requirement: 1. Requires a bachelor’s degree in Civil and Structure engineering or related. 2. Typically a minimum of 1 year related work experience. Skills and Competency: 1. Intermediate knowledge of CAD or other electronic tools and/or design principles and practices on daily work assignments. 2. Understand basic engineering design processes. 3. Effective English reading and writing skills. 4. Good communication and coordination skill, can work under pressure. 5. Good team spirit. 6. Good computer skills, word, excel etc. 7.
