Main Responsibilities: Independent site survey of the existing quality issues concerning mechanical and process aspects at casters. work-out of a fact-finding list and analysis of the trouble shooting on site. Customer training / customer meeting. Project support and consultation by making casting speed, production calculation etc. of the technical offers. Technical evaluation of the performance guarantee figures of the offers. Accompany engineering offices / sites / customers Concept / stipulation for commissioning of each plant. Under circumstances, support for commissioning and installation. Coordination with sales and process colleagues in China and Germany Responsibility for the technical correctness of the process recommendation. Contact for the site leader and leader for the commissioning / support on site Main Requirements: Master or bachelor for metallurgical engineering Above 5 years’ practical experience in slab casting and steelmaking equipment at steel plants Good command of English, German is preferred.
